Terms of service

Box My Lap is software that publishes independent telemetry analysis of Formula 1 races and related digital reports. By using boxmylap.com you agree to these terms.

The site is provided as-is. Analysis is independently calculated commentary. It may contain errors and is not official timing or sporting data. We do not promise a particular result from any report or from the AI race engineer.

A paid Box My Lap 7-day access purchase is a one-time digital unlock for telemetry reports on this site. Paddle is the merchant of record for that one-time unlock. A Box My Lap Pro subscription, if offered, is billed by Stripe. We do not sell access to raw telemetry files.

You must not misuse the service (scraping that harms the site, attempting to break access controls, or using it for anything unlawful). We may suspend access that we reasonably believe is abusive.

These terms are the agreement for use of the site. Local consumer law still applies where it cannot be waived.

Privacy notice

We collect what we need to run the product: the questions you ask, basic usage and quota counts, sign-in identifiers (email or a signed-in account), and payment status from our processors. We use that to deliver reports, enforce limits, and keep the service working.

Payment card details are handled by Paddle (one-time unlock) or Stripe (Pro). We do not store full card numbers. Processors may receive the email you use at checkout so the unlock can be attached to that address.

We use hosting, analytics, and authentication vendors to operate the site. We do not sell your personal information. We keep logs and quota records as long as needed to run and secure the service, then delete or anonymize them.

To ask about the data we hold, use the feedback control on boxmylap.com.

Refund policy

The one-time unlock and Pro are digital goods. If you have not used the unlock, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it. Once you have used it (signed in and opened paid reports or asked paid questions), it is generally not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or the charge was clearly in error.

Paddle handles refunds for Box My Lap 7-day access. Stripe handles refunds or cancellations for Pro, under Stripe’s customer portal and applicable subscription rules. Chargebacks should go through the processor that billed you.

This is not a satisfaction guarantee and not a promise that analysis is error-free. If the site was unavailable for a material part of a paid window, write to us via the site feedback control and we will make a reasonable adjustment.
